What if I don't want you to collect hourly data from my meter?

We have a legitimate interest to collect hourly meter data as part of our obligation under the Water Act. We use the readings to identify if water is leaking on your property and it helps inform our water resources plans.

A key concern of Anglian Water's customers, and therefore of Anglian Water, is leakage on its networks. Reducing network leakage is a core activity in Anglian Water. Data that helps the company to reduce leakage is therefore of legitimate interest.
