Why has my rateable value bill increased?

The Rateable Value number at a property does not change. However, our prices do change on 1st April each year. Find out here about Our Charges. If you have recently moved it may be that the Rateable Value number at the new property is different from your previous property. 

Rateable value does not take into account the number of people at the property or how much water you use. You can switch to a water meter to ensure that you only pay for the water you use.
